What KaizenEDU is

A learning app for families: practice that's checked by code, short lessons, a tutor, a calendar for school dates, and a record of what each learner did. This is a test version: features change, and some things may break.

Who it's for

A parent or guardian makes the account and is responsible for how the children in it use KaizenEDU. Children use it through their grown-up's account, not one of their own.

Honest records, not grades

Practice and lessons are activity. Hints and corrections count as help. "Proved" means a skill passed two checks on different days without help. That's a practice rule, not a grade, a diagnosis or a certificate. Homeschool records are a log of what happened; whether they meet your state's rules is for you to decide.

The AI tutor

When it's on, the tutor is an AI model and it can be wrong. It's told to teach rather than hand out answers, and practice answers are always checked by code, never by the AI. Anything written by AI is labelled. It doesn't give medical, legal or emergency advice; if a child needs that kind of help, it points them to a grown-up or a real service.

Questions and sources

Questions labelled "Draft questions" haven't been reviewed by a teacher yet. Facts from outside sources show where they came from, under those sources' licences. Only attach files you have the right to share.

Using it fairly

Don't try to break, overload or misuse KaizenEDU, or reach anyone else's data.

Your data

It's yours. Privacy and Data retention have the details; download or delete it from Settings whenever you like.

No promises we can't keep

KaizenEDU is offered as it is while it's being built. We work to keep it running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of mistakes.

Price

The test version is free. If that changes, the app will say so before anyone is asked to pay.
